New opportunity but im hesitant. What do you think?
Here’s my current situation
Job:
Current supervisory role focused on sports marketing, including campaigns, content, and brand-related deliverables. Salary is around ₱30K with 14th month pay and occasional 15th month bonuses, plus OT pay. However, there hasn’t been any salary increase yet.
Opportunity:
Role has fairly similar responsibilities, but at an Assistant Manager level. Compensation is around ₱70K plus commute allowance, though I still don’t have the complete details on the other benefits.
I’m scared to take the jump since my role here is okay and I’m happy with it but the pay is just not up to par with inflation and all. The opportunity is a big jump in terms of pay and responsibility and I’m not sure if im ready for it
