Some of the players on the Ruins played a bad game
The Ruins was obviously a season where JEK was running the show and it was a lopsided competition where the Champs dominated. However, it could have been different if certain players had been smarter.
Veronica, Katie, Tonya, Syrus, Evelyn, and Darrell should have never followed JEK’s plans. They should have teamed up with Wes and try to control the numbers. Instead most of them followed JEK’s lead in ostracizing him. This came back to bite them in the ass after Wes left and JEK got rid of them. It’s not like they were international rookie players like SLA where they had no experience. They were established vets and should have known they were at the bottom. Darrell gets a slight pass because he actually had beef with Wes.
The challengers also played a bad game by voting in Briana over Casey. Casey previously messed up two dailies and should have been sent in no question. Instead, Briana gets sent in because she’s a rookie. That move screwed any chance the challengers had to win the season. Brad then has the nerve to have a mental breakdown over Casey’s performance and bring Darrell down with him.
