I’m a traveler I understand my schedule won’t be perfect or exactly how I want but they scheduled me for every single Thursday Friday Saturday NIGHT for 7 weeks. I asked them to switch me off every other weekend and they said they would look into it. I’m not working every weekend and I’ll be stubborn about that. What do you guys recommend? I mean this is crazy. They should have it listed as a weeekend contract if they only needed weekend nights. It should be a separate listing bc I wouldn’t have signed up for this.

I have offers for Juneau and Anchorage. Juneau housing is secured but sketch and might be scam (never had to pay a deposit and can’t get photos of the property until tenants move out May 1). Anchorage I can get housing no problem.

I was set on Anchorage, couldn’t get a position for the timeframe I wanted and then got a job in Juneau and now of course Anchorage reached out with an offer.

For those who have gone to Alaska, which one is better for living and exploring? Will be wanting to do lots of outdoors activities. Just get nervous with how isolated Juneau is and how you’re really restricted to just that island for quick two day camping trips (which is so incredibly beautiful!)
