help!
this is my sweet baby salem, i got him from petco last weekend. i noticed shortly after i got him his tail looked sorta weird. is this tail rot???? i’m so scared for him. first photo is his tail now, last is the day i got him.
he is 4 months old and he’s eating his crickets perfectly fine, and hunts the crickets. i’ve paid mind to the fact it may just be stuck shed but it seems unlikely to me and he also won’t sit in a bath. this is my first reptile so i’m very new to this! (btw the white powder is just some calcium from his food)
i love him very much especially being one of my first animals. though im 16 and my parents don’t step in much and believe he doesn’t need to see a vet and i dont have enough money on my own. im considering returning him back to petco and making them through their policy give him the medical care he needs and exchanging but i really love him and i dont want to let him go. :(
