I was just checking out the infamous geo politics sub, and the comments there are comically funny. It reads like some random neocons are wanking each other in a warmongering orgy. That sub feels like an enlightened worldnews gathering, the other infamous sub that is just as hilariously astroturfed.

I'm seriously looking at Lemmy right now, it seems like there is way more value in reading posts and interacting, even if some users there are as braindead as bots here astroturfing. I don't know if stupidpol is active there, but I've seen some good discussions in the "main" communities of Lemmy, something that was possible around 10 years ago on Reddit.

What the fuck should campism mean? It's identitarian term, that is weaponized against global south countries. The "leftists" who "does not support campism", is at best a utopian socialist who cannot bear to understand that progress is a process, and societies will have internal contradictions and internal struggles in achieving this. The person who wants not to be a campist, cares more about its own identity than the material reality.

It's a hilariously idealistic worldview, usually parroted by terminally online first worlders. Supporting Iran in its defense against Imperialism, is not "campism", it is marxism 101. You cannot "oppose the war" and also try to label the goverment "theocractic oppressive regime", a label generated by the western media funded and created by the US imperialism.
