I believe I’m actually part of the 15%!

I play a mix of modern and retro stuff but I do buy and play plenty of brand new games at release for full price.

Pics are just of my current gen stuff games for the sake of this discussion. I own very few digital games and happily wait for physical releases, such as AW2 and BG3. I’m genuinely gutted that Sony have chosen this direction and whilst it’s still early to make definitive statements, I’m leaning towards the PS5 pro being my last console and switching to PC.

And I know PC has been basically all digital for a decade+, but on Pc you can actually get at your game installs. Backing them up or “reacquiring” them is trivial and preservation is much easier. I will happily pay for digital games to support their creation but I don’t want to do that on a closed system.

A50X for PS5, Xbox and Switch 2

Just wanted to check my thinking before ordering a pair of A50x’s on a prime day deal. I think from what I’ve read this should work with no cable switching but can anyone who’s tried it confirm?

PS5 - PS5 HDMI in and USB
Xbox - Xbox HDMI in and USB
Switch 2 - PC USB

Appreciate I’ll be giving up 24bit audio for the switch 2 but swapping inputs is a step too far.

Also I plan to never dock the headphones and just charge them by the USB port. Any issue doing that? Can I swap inputs on the base or is the playsync button only on the headset?
