Found these, the 12 year is on sale for $89.99. Which should I buy?

I did a riff on the ultimate Mai tai and am now sipping the best Mai tai I’ve ever had. Did some minor tweaks on the specs:

.5 oz Planteray OFTD .5 oz oz Smith&Cross .5 oz Appleton 12 .5 oz Planteray Xamaica .25 oz Holmes Cay Grand Arome .25oz Grand Marnier .25oz Clement Creole Shrubb .5oz fresh lime juice .25 oz 2:1 Demerara syrup .5oz homemade riff on Kevin Crossman’s 60 second orgeat- I’ll include for those interested.

Mix all ingredients with a half lime shell in the shaker and open pour into a glass filled with crushed ice. As it melts and the flavors evolve, keep topping with crushed ice. Sip slowly and you and literally pull out every rum in there- it’s crazy one can actually discern that.

My orgeat riff (the Bobby Beach way): 3 Tbsp almond milk concentrate 250 ml Lake Michigan tap water (the best on Earth) 500 grams Demerara sugar 1/2 tsp rose water 1/2 tsp orange blossom water 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 Tbsp almond extract 45ml Planteray OFTD

Literally combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 30 second until a smooth and creamy syrup forms. Add the rum at the very end to make it shelf stable for a good 3 months.

Found this at a store and grabbed a bottle- incredibly smooth rum!
