Artie starts obedience class beginning of June and we got to sit in and observe the current class. She did so well and the instructor was pleased to see her watching so nicely. He thinks she'll do well and once we're finished with 7week beginner and 7week advanced we'll see if we get an offer to join the club. If we join we get to take part in their Therapy class and hopefully partake in therapy work! The instructor is confident with how she already is that she'll excel and be a perfect addition to their program.

Artie likes to watch cartoons with me but I'm watching Flow for the first time and she has stayed watching it the whole time it's been on haha.

After a small romp in a creek and chilling at a park, we had lunch at McDonald's(patio) and then walked a new park and worked on holding a down-stay! We've been struggling with not bouncing right back up after a sit or down and worked with a trainer a bit this afternoon. She managed to stay in a down for over a minute + me taking a few steps back! We start an official obedience class next month but I'm glad I finally found someone to work with me, it's been difficult finding a trainer willing to grow and adapt to working with a deaf dog. She's not my first deaf dog, but she is my first deaf puppy, so I've never had to combat the energy😅

She's not earning points yet(don't qualify until 12m of age) but she's starting to get this bunny chasin thing in the bag(bunny bag joke lol). We're learning I definitely have to be the one to catch her, and she is still gettin this speed thing down. She's still young with a lot of growing to do so she'll gain some speed as she matures.

She's also not a fan of sunscreen but she's gonna wear it whether she likes it or not😅
