I'm just curious—what does Peggy gain by acting like that?

He’s spewing crap on Twitter, acting like a jerk, pissing people off, playing the clown, spouting nothing but nonsense, and just tearing down his own image—so what the hell does he actually want? I don’t care what he says, he is not wise about Humanities Literacy—it only pisses me off when he releases shitty music or suddenly decides to change the production out of the blue. The only time that he really annoyed me was when he changed the production on “STH.” If you know the reason why, please let me know.

Could STH Vol. 2 Still Happen?

Earlier this year, I think, Danny and Peggy had a bit of a falling-out. They even briefly blocked each other on Instagram (though they’ve unblocked each other since), and ever since then, it feels like they’ve grown a little distant.

When Peggy released the STH Director’s Cut, he dropped the “Volume” from the title, and Danny removed the STH 2 announcement photo from his Instagram. As a huge fan of STH, I’d love to see a sequel happen. But for now, I’m just looking forward to that Denzel Curry collaboration album that’s supposedly coming out sometime next year. I have a feeling the Denzel Curry collaboration is going to lean into a metal-hip hop sound.

The more I think about the original version of sth, the more annoyed I get

Why the hell is that Peggy messing with the sound? I can understand the sound mixing to a point, but removing Danny’s doubling at the beginning of “Steppa Pig” makes it feel hollow, and combining the sample that comes later with the scratch after the break actually makes it sound even messier. Also, the clumsy way Peggy’s final verse ends in “Orange Juice Jones” (whether intentional or not, it’s just bad), and cutting out the gunshot in “God Loves You”—I just can’t understand any of that at all. These parts really undermine the value of the work. At least he should’ve left it out in the first place, or at least only tweaked it for the Director’s Cut while preserving the original version separately—why the hell did they go and change it like this? I’d understand if he’d also tweaked the tracks from LP! when he released Offline!, but he didn’t. And other director’s cuts just add tracks and that’s it—so why the hell are he messing with the songs like this? Especially in “Tell Me Where to Go,” changing the tone, re-recording the rap, and throwing in that shitty guitar part—it’s so fucking awful that I haven’t even listened to it since the changes were made.
