Anyone else having to work the 4th of July substitute? Courts are closed near and my entire family is off work but my attorney wants me to work because he’s working…. #feelingsalty

Ok a little back story- started as a legal assistant a few months ago. I work about 37 hours per week and make about 60k before taxes. However, I’m bored out of my skull at work. It’s a one attorney office and I’m hardly ever given any work to do. I sit there all day and maybe get one thing to file or some discovery to go through, if I’m lucky. I get no lunch break. I can’t be on my phone so I find myself randomly reading files on the computer all day. I go to my attorney to try to get the laundry list done that he procrastinates and he dismisses me. I ask for work and don’t get any. Attorney is extremely moody, really mean or really happy- no in between. I just find myself staring out the window wishing I was anywhere but sitting at a desk doing nothing. Should I be complaining or just enjoy “working” ?

Some background- my fiancé skateboarded all throughout childhood/teen years. He was very good and did all the tricks. He’s 35 now and I want to surprise him with a board for his birthday but I have no idea what to get him. Something to cruise around and do some tricks. Maybe take to a skate park. He’s 6’0 and 240lbs. I know absolutely nothing about skateboarding so any advice is appreciated!
