calories and loss speed
Coming to here for some advice because I feel that my calorie deficit is not working how it should.
For context, since the end of march Ive been eating 1600 ish , tracking everything, i’ve been more active (aiming for 8-10kg steps a day, but haven’t always hit it). I started at 214 December last year, and now I’m at 206 lbs.
ive been weight lifting for the past 2 weeks so i know that can fluctuate things.
When i put my stats into the tdee calculator it says 2lbs per week i should 1417 calories a day (my maintenance is 2417). However chatgpt said i should lean towards 1800-2000.
What are your thoughts? Im really hoping to speed things up a bit for my vacation in summer but i will continue the journey afterwards too.
