Do they have any relevant to the lore outside of this event thing at all? I feel like I might be missing some part of the lore or something.

Both Lumi and Iris just seem like they came out of nowhere and decided to be evil?? Other than that I don't know their backstories, their motives, what faction/group they're associated with or if they're(or at least Lumi) even human at all?

All of those might(?) be in the update but I haven't had the time to play it yet so if anyone knows pls tell me thanks👍
