i swear the latency on some of these software scanners is getting worse. you see a nice 2% arb pop up, you rush to lock in the first leg, and by the time you switch tabs to hedge, the other book has already nuked the odds.

now you’re just stuck holding a naked bet you never actually wanted. i was manually tracking some live feeds across pinnacle and sportbet one yesterday, and the scanners are sometimes a full 10-15 seconds behind the actual bookie APIs. by the time the alert hits, the value is already gone.

do u guys just take the small loss and hedge at the worse prive when you get legged, or do u just let the single bet ride and pray it hist?
