Doxycycline? Any help please

I’ve had mild blepharitis for years.
Managed ok but seems to be getting worse as currently I’m unable to do heat mask as I have a tooth that’s irritating my trigeminal nerve which is bad luck and not being removed until late July. One gland is capped as I saw an opthamologist this morning, he said as I have mild acne/rosacea/blepharitis that a course of low dose doxycycline may benefit me but I suffer with IBS and have heard it’s rough in the gut.
Any positive stories and is it worth me taking?

Not fit for work again..

I’ve worked fully remote for my company since 2020, no equipment supplied. Diagnosed with cervical spondylitis and myofascial pain 2025 with mri and x ray, confirmed work set up caused this from private physio and then ergonomic assessment my work finally did after I was signed off for a month where they paid someone to come and redo my desk set up.
We are paying privately for all treatment, taking pain meds and not had a day off since.
Expected to cover for my job shared colleague who works 30 hours in my 20 hours as well as my own job two weeks ago, queried with my manager and was ignored, tried to contact her multiple times. Found out teams are being restructured. Covered as much as I couand ended up with agonizing neck pain, gp wrote a fit for work with reasonable adjustments- reasonable workload and regular breaks and OH assessment. Discussed with new manager and told to take regular breaks.
Go to check my emails and find out I’m expected to do the same in my new team with my new colleague working the longer hours on annual leave for ten days and all her work assigned to me. No one raised this, they have just all been put into my inbox to work on.
I struggle with mental health due to chronic pain and went back to gp who has signed me off for a few weeks and was not happy as I’ve got multiple symptoms from not being able to take breaks.
Where do I stand? I couldn’t do 50 hours in my 20 even if I was 100% fit. Also other member of my team have work shared out equally when they are off. Occ health assessment has been refused twice. Im also not getting paid now as we have a rolling ten days in a year which I used last summer.
