Just got tomadachi life and I'm making a completely portal based island!

I'm not great at the mii creator, but I still will make a portal island filled with official and portal ocs! If you have any suggestions for non canon characters you can comment them :)

Like it's always been so weird to me, like what do you MEAN his parents in the 1930's went "ah yes... Our beautiful son... His name is Cave." Like- was this an actual common name because Cave sounds like something you'd name an edgy teenager oc ngl-

so we all know that Wheatley betrays us after becoming the central core, but as seen in the after credits scene he says he really regrets betraying Chell and would apologise to her if he ever saw her again. Now this could just be him being a moron, but another thing I noticed is how Glados personality changes when she is put in the potato battery, now this could just be her being stressed out with her facility about to be destroyed and her finding out she is Caroline. But what I have always thought is that there is something deeply wrong with the code of the central core body, like anytime Wheatley or Glados was in this body, they immediately want to test, put test subjects in dangerous situations, doesn't care for them at all. But when they are out of that body, their actual personality is there, with Wheatley being a nice but very scatter brained core and Glados being sarcastic still but actually has some level of empathy for Chell. Since Glados (and therefore the central core body) was made somewhere in the 1960-1990s, so therefore there is probably a lot more glitches in its code, like aperture was advanced but I doubt they could do much with the computers back then. like say for my theory to be correct, it probably would be something along the lines of the scientists were trying to give Glados a way to prioritise efficiency in tests, and decided to code it with the testing want in the central body, but what they weren't aware of is that it also prioritised testing and efficiency over the lives of the scientists and test subjects themselves. I'm probably not the first person to think this but I haven't seen anyone talk about it

What do y'all think about this theory? I would love to see your opinions in the comments

First one is before Glados was replaced and the second one is after though I could just be hallucinating, the closer I look the more it just looks like red covers... BUT WHY WOULD THEY MAKE THE COVERS RED-

So we know Caroline was used to make Glados using brain map technology, but clearly there is organic materials in Glados herself since when Wheatley takes over, if you look down where the tools were that took Glados off (that was badly explained sorry) you will see that it is covered in a red liquid (presumably blood), but if there is organic materials in Glados, that would presumably mean that she would need to eat to keep living, unless of course aperture found out how to keep organic materials alive with electricity, I get that the materials could be in a coma like state, but if that's the case then why even put the materials in the first place? And it isn't something like plants since plants need nutrients still and there was blood. Is there something I'm missing here? I know that aperture tech was ahead of its time but if there is no point to having blood then why add it? And it isn't something like weird cave Johnson chaos since he died long before Glados was made... Also I doubt that he requested to add blood to her-

So during the scene where Chell and Wheatley are seeing the non-defective turrets get pushed into the grinder, Wheatley says something along the lines of "well I shouldn't laugh, they do have feelings... Well stimulated feelings but still.." but, he is a core, he would supposedly also have simulated feelings, now you could say this is just him being a moron, but we do know that he was made before Glados took over to try fill Glados with bad ideas, and knowing aperture had already turned Caroline into Glados, why wouldn't they try the same thing to try stop her? Of course there isn't much evidence that Wheatley was also made with a person, but there are things that act as a bit of evidence for this theory

  1. The turret line I've already mentioned

  2. The fact he is one of the few cores with a name, the other one being Rick, the green eyed core during his boss fight

  3. He just has way to much personality compared to the other cores, of course we only get to see the other cores for a lil but my point still stands

  4. He is constantly trying to disobey his programming, he doesn't want to be a moron, not only that but he actually did a few smart things, like the booby trap taking Chell to the part that kills you, his actually pretty good plan during the boss fight, and the escape pod plan to try leave, and a lot of the stuff that foiled the plans was just stuff he wasn't aware enough about, like with the boss fight and the portal gel getting every where, and since Chell just turned on these gels he had no way of knowing this.

  5. Aperture's just overall careless behaviour, like they turned Caroline to Glados against her will, I'm guessing that if this theory is true then Wheatley would've had the same experience, and then Aperture trying to make sure they didn't just make another evil ai made it the dumbest thing in existence.

Does anyone have any evidence that disproves this theory? Id love to hear your opinions on it

like id just be scrolling down this subreddit and like randomly "I made [portal character] in Tomadachi life" and their designs are really cool but also like why is it so funny to me that this game that has nothing to do with portal is like current 1 tenth of the subreddit posts now lol
