How to get rid of fungus gnats

Help! Struggling with fungus gnats! What can I do. I bought the spray they recommend. Anyone try it?

Why is it discolored?

Why is the color changing??!? They used to be green? And I haven’t seen new leaf growth in a while?
It’s sitting in bright light window and was doing great, until I just noticed this. I water it every 10-14 days. I have not changed the pot or soil in a few years. Help!
