Roma 2-0 Lazio Post Match Thread

Amazing result. We were nervy and second best until the opening goal but after that took control. Time to finish the season with another win against Verona. This is a Champions League club.

Obviously a lot has been said about French TV directors after the game on the weekend.

The solution seems to be having neutral TV directors for the all matches, then everyone will be happy.

All of this conversation just reminded me of what happened at the last World Cup where this occurred. As we know, World Rugby took control of the cameras for this tournament and this is with the supposed impartial Hawk-Eye system used.

We can clearly see head contact and the TMO should have all of those angles.

In the last 6 seconds of the video, I’ve added what we were shown as viewers of the game where the head contact is conveniently cut out just before the penalty kick is replayed.

The French players ask the referee for a review, the referee says “No, guys do not ask me for that” then says “TMO’s checked no foul play we continue” 2 seconds later.

My question to everyone is if this happens to the team you support, are you able to accept it as long as the TV directors are neutral?
