Hi, I had this idea that I wanted to start out, and I might need help from coders or a team of people that are interested. I’m a severely chronically ill student that was quite isolated in middle and high school; I want to combat that. The best thing we can do for our pain is to distract ourselves through therapeutic recreation and a hobby that clicks for us. I had the idea to possibly make a chronically ill/sick student penpal service. Writing letters can be extremely therapeutic, and also venting about our illnesses and hopefully relating to others would help as well. I know this would’ve helped me throughout my isolation and pain. I was thinking either to make this through physical mail or to make a website instead where we can do matchmaking to find kids with similar hardships, diagnoses or interests/hobbies. I have no coding experience yet, but I have ideas. If we could make this a school club that would be awesome too. Im not sure if thats possible too? I’m in biomedical mechanical engineering going into my 2nd year. I would love to assemble a team to work on this :)
