First line. HAC on Steven

Salut tout le monde,

Après avoir longuement réfléchi au vendeur de mon HAC, j'ai finalement opté pour Steven car son prix était raisonnable et ses avis sont très positifs.

La communication a été agréable et rapide. It cost me $515, including shipping.

J'ai choisi un HAC « gris brumeux » et j'en suis très content. Mis à part quelques différences par rapport au modèle du commerce, je trouve que le sac est de très bonne qualité.

Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Hello everyone,

Please excuse my spelling — I’m not a native English speaker.

For a long time, I’ve been feeling constantly tired and needing to take a nap during the day just to stay productive. Despite that, I still feel exhausted even after sleeping 10 hours or more. I used to blame it on my workload or daily exercise.

That changed when my wife asked me to get tested because my snoring had become very heavy and difficult for her to deal with.

So I went for a sleep study, and the results showed severe sleep apnea: an AHI of 51.3 with 286 micro-arousals. Most of the events were obstructive apneas, with a hypoxic burden of 49.2% min/hour.

My doctor prescribed CPAP therapy, and yesterday a technician came to install the machine at my home. To be honest, after reading many experiences here, I had high expectations for it.

For reference, I’m using an AirSense 11 with an AirTouch N20 mask.

However, my first night wasn’t great. I was only able to keep the mask on for about 5 hours, and it caused painful irritation around my nose. I had to remove it during the night to fall back asleep. This morning, I actually feel more tired than usual, with significant brain fog.

Do you have any tips for a new user? I should mention that I’m in France and the device is fully covered, so I don’t have access to the machine settings myself — only the technician who installed it can adjust them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
