Advice on teachers thoughts

My friend and I are trying to start a newsletter to promote the North of brisbane (The Northsider) and we are wanting to eventually branch out into offering spots for local teenagers/students to write a feature article for us. The idea is that we can take them with their parent to a northside place (say for example a cafe or a local business owner) and they can have the experience of conducting the interview and then writing the feature article themselves to submit and be in the newsletter. Of course we would pay, and then cover costs for expenses incurred at the interview or the event.

I am not sure if I have the right demographic here to ask, but is this something that schools would be keen to get involved with? Or are we best to put some ads out on community noticeboards for parents or teens to respond to?

Resource/Newsletter/Community for Brisbane Queer Owned Businesses

Hi everybody!

I am wondering if there is any newsletter/community space or anything that is hyper local to the Brisbane queer community? If not a lot, I am wanting to start a little social newsletter where we can talk about the local queer owned businesses/safe spaces around town, best places to go to get support, and overall just sharing some really positive people from our community.

If there is something like this already, please tell me where to find this! But I also am open to hearing if there is a space that needs filling, or even if you think it is possible? As much as I love hearing the coming out stories and inspirational events happening from creators in America, it is always super lovely to be able to hear form people who are going on dates at southbank or who met at a place that I have been to etc etc...

Anyway, TLDR - Would anyone have an interest in reading a super local newsletter filled with all things queer Brisbane
