u/photographyhobbyists was on Reddit selling a stacked Champs 21/Arcane Sheriff account. Seemed normal at first, except the price was really low so I was skeptical from the start. I added him on Discord (adammaher1994, ID: 1498562085603381259) to make things easier. Dude was barely active on Discord, though, so I moved back to Reddit.
Red flag #1: Payment methods
First thing I asked was how he wanted to be paid. He said PayPal has "issues" and would only accept wire transfer or crypto. Wire transfers and crypto are completely irreversible, the second you send it its gone. No legit seller who does this regularly is gonna have "PayPal issues."
Red flag #2: Inconsistent socials
His Discord name is Adam Maher. His Facebook display name is Erik Mahler. But the actual Facebook tag on the profile URL is silvamichael03. All his accounts seem to made super recently, with his reddit being only 3 months and discord 2 months. Something doesn't add up...
Red flag #3: Won't show ANY proof of the account
I asked for proof of the account probably like 20 times. I initially asked for a valobox or explorant, but he refused stating he didn't trust third-party sites (fair enough because they require riot access). I asked him to screenshare the account, but he said he sold his PC and couldn't on his mac. This seemed a little sus, but it matched his story. Next, not even asking for anything crazy, I literally just wanted a tracker.gg profile. Fully public, anyone can look up any account, zero risk of it getting "reported" or "banned." His excuse was that showing the account could get it reported somehow. I also was unable to find any account going by the user "MiMoSa" as seen in his screenshots. He claims nothing on the account has been changed except the password, so it doesn't make sense I can't find the account on tracker. After pestering him, he eventually sent a Dropbox video, a phone recording of his monitor showing the account. It was just a blurry phone-of-monitor video that proves nothing because it didn't show the user and only the skins. The title of the video was also odd because it was clearly renamed to "photographyhobbyists recorded video.mp4" which is weird as fuck because who renames a video on their PHONE???
Red flag #4: The screenshots and video are outdated
Limited edition skins like the Champions Vandal or the Arcane Sheriff show a special limited edition tag when you open them in your inventory. Its been like that for a while now. In every screenshot and video he sent, those tags were completely absent. That means the footage he's showing is from at least a few months back, probably older. He is literally showing you stale screenshots of an account he may not even have access to anymore, or never had access to at all.
Red flag #5: Won't use a middleman
I offered to use a reputable middleman from OGUser or platforms like Eldorado. These are well known trusted services specifically designed so both parties are protected. He flat out refused. Instead he showed me screenshots of some Facebook page claiming he has "thousands of dollars in deals." He wants me to go first or do 50/50, where I send him money FIRST.
His Facebook page was extremely suspicious. I found the profile he was claiming: https://www.facebook.com/silvamichael03/, and it is completely empty. No marketplace history (I could find that he alleged), no wife he claims to be married to (he says he sold his wife's account before this one without issue), and he only follows some random African guy. There's zero actual activity on it.
Red flag #6: His location doesn't add up
His Reddit and his Facebook both say he's in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Quick geography check: Kelowna is in the Pacific timezone, which is 3 hours BEHIND EST. So if its noon EST, its 9am in Kelowna. That already makes the response times sus.
But here's where my theory that his guy is a Chinese larp starts making sense. The screenshots he sent from his phone showed his local time matching EST exactly, which lined up with when I was messaging him. So either he's not actually in Kelowna, or he manually set his phone timezone to EST for some reason.
EST happens to be exactly 12 hours behind Chinese Standard Time, so there's no difference in the time itself.
On top of that, the video he sent showed his monitor. It was a Xiaomi monitor, a huge Chinese brand. He also speaks using "haha" and his english is kinda broken.
He was messaging me at 5am EST. For someone in Kelowna thats 2am. Nobody is up closing Valorant account deals at 2am. But if you flip it to Chinese Standard Time, 5am EST is early afternoon, a completely normal time to be active.
Red flag #7: The "previous buyer" story
He claimed he sold his wife's account before and that the buyer went first with zero proof of the account or the deal ever existing. No receipt, no transaction, nothing. He just said it happened and expected me to take his word for it. He made an excuse, saying the previous deal happened on a banned Reddit account and he couldn't recover any proof. Literally makes no sense.

looking for advice for shade matching korean brands if your skintone sits between two shades for 21-23. many korean brands have limited shade and undertone options. im not too sure abt my actual shade and skin tone, but i definitely lean warm.
for context, i own the jungsaemmool nuder cushion 19 n-light and 21 medium (w). the second pic is of cell fusion c bb cream in natural light (21-22). it seems the jsm 19N is too light while 21W is pulls orange. the cell fusion c NL brightens my complexion but is a bit unnaturally “white” as it has a cooler undertone.
what other brands or shades are good matches for being between two shades like 21-23, and where warm shades pull orange but neutral/cool look unnaturally white?
