Watching a 12 year old
Hi! I’m looking for a little advice on how to make the best out of this weekend.
I’m babysitting a 12 year old boy, he doesn’t seem to have much interest in having me there. Understandable lol! He is at the age where he really doesn’t need someone here all day.
However, all he really wants to do is watch tv and play video games. He would do it all day if I let him. His parents don’t want him doing this, they wrote a whole list of activities to do out for him and everytime I suggest one it keeps him occupied for maybe 15-25 minutes until he just makes a bee line back to the tv.
He’s a really good kid, I just feel nervous because I really cannot pry him away from the screens. I am here until Monday morning, any advice would be appreciated because at this point I am lost on what to do. I’ve watched him several times and this happens every time. Thank you!
