Indian healthcare/public health professional considering Germany + Opportunity Card. Looking for honest advice on job prospects

Hi everyone,
I’m an Indian professional currently working in digital health/public health, and I’m seriously considering moving to Germany through the Opportunity Card to look for a job.
I’d really appreciate some honest advice from Indians who are already working/living in Germany, particularly people in healthcare, public health, digital health, consulting, health tech, or project/program management.
A little about my background:
Age: 32

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), India

MPH (Master of Public Health), with a focus on Health Policy, Economics & Finance

Around 4 years of professional experience in digital health/project management

Currently working as a Senior Project Coordinator

Experience working on international/public-health projects, including projects involving WHO/CDC-funded programs

Experience across digital health platforms, telehealth, AI-based health products, healthcare operations, implementation, stakeholder coordination and regulatory/compliance work

Have worked on projects involving international teams and healthcare systems, including work connected with the Philippines and European markets

My entire education has been in English

I currently don't speak German, although I'm willing to learn

My current career direction is towards roles such as:
Digital Health Project Manager

Healthcare Project/Program Manager

Health Innovation / Digital Health Associate

Public Health Program/Project roles

Healthcare Product Operations

Implementation Manager

Health Tech / Healthcare Consulting roles

I’m currently researching the German Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) as a possible route to move to Germany and search for employment there.
I have a few questions for people who have actually gone through this process:
How realistic is it to find a job in Germany with this kind of profile without German initially?
I'm specifically looking at international companies, health-tech companies, consulting firms, research organisations and English-speaking roles.

Would my BDS + MPH combination be useful in the German job market, or would employers mainly look at my project management/digital health experience?

For someone with my background, which German cities would you recommend targeting?
I'm currently thinking about Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne and potentially other cities with strong healthcare/health-tech ecosystems.

Has anyone here used the Opportunity Card to move to Germany and then successfully found a job?
I'd especially like to hear how long the job search actually took and how much savings you realistically needed.

How important is German for the kind of roles I'm targeting?
I'm fully prepared to learn German, but realistically I would probably start the job search with English and learn German alongside it.

Would you recommend getting a ZAB Statement of Comparability / qualification recognition before applying for the Opportunity Card?
I'm trying to understand what is actually necessary versus what immigration consultants recommend because they can charge for every additional service.

Finally, am I being realistic about this move?
I'm not expecting Germany to be an easy job market. I’m trying to understand whether my profile has a reasonable chance before spending money on the visa, relocation and initial living expenses.

I'm not looking for an agent or paid consultancy. I'd genuinely prefer advice from people who have been through the process themselves.
If you're in healthcare, public health, digital health, health tech or project management in Germany, I'd especially appreciate hearing about your experience.
Thanks in advance!

Looking for advice- struggling to land s healthcare/digital health job in EU as an international applicant

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some honest advice from people who know the EU job market because I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something.
I'm from India and have a background in healthcare and digital health:
BDS (Dentistry) + Master of Public Health

~4 years of experience leading digital health projects

Worked with governments, NGOs, and international public health programmes

Experience in project management, implementation, stakeholder management, business analysis, and digital health platforms

For the past few months, I've been applying to roles in the
such as:
Project Manager

Implementation Consultant

Digital Health Consultant

Healthcare Transformation

HealthTech Operations

Customer Success/Implementation (HealthTech)

I've tailored my CV for almost every application, reached out to recruiters on LinkedIn, emailed hiring managers where possible, and applied through company websites. Despite this, I've had very little success. Most applications either result in an automatic rejection or no response at all.

I'd really appreciate advice on:
Are there recruitment agencies in the EU
that actively work with international candidates?

Is there a better way to network beyond LinkedIn?

If you're a recruiter or hiring manager, what would make someone with my background more competitive?

If anyone works in HealthTech, digital health, healthcare consulting, or knows recruiters who hire international talent, I'd be incredibly grateful for an introduction or any guidance.
I'm not looking for shortcuts—just trying to understand how to break into the market and where I should focus my efforts.
Thanks so much for reading, and I genuinely appreciate any advice or connections you can share.

Looking for advice – struggling to land a healthcare/digital health job in the Netherlands as an international applicant

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some honest advice from people who know the Dutch job market because I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something.

For the past few months, I've been applying to roles in the Netherlands such as:

I've tailored my CV for almost every application, reached out to recruiters on LinkedIn, emailed hiring managers where possible, and applied through company websites. Despite this, I've had very little success. Most applications either result in an automatic rejection or no response at all.
I know that requiring visa sponsorship is probably my biggest hurdle, but I'm trying to understand whether that's the only issue or if there's something else I should be doing differently.
I'd really appreciate advice on:
Are there recruitment agencies in the Netherlands that actively work with international candidates needing sponsorship?

Are there HealthTech companies that are known to sponsor skilled professionals?

Is there a better way to network beyond LinkedIn?

If you're a recruiter or hiring manager, what would make someone with my background more competitive?

If anyone works in Dutch HealthTech, digital health, healthcare consulting, or knows recruiters who hire international talent, I'd be incredibly grateful for an introduction or any guidance.
I'm not looking for shortcuts—just trying to understand how to break into the Dutch market and where I should focus my efforts.
Thanks so much for reading, and I genuinely appreciate any advice or connections you can share.
