The electronic whine on my EUC is making me want to return it
Does anyone else get really bothered by the high pitch whine some EUCs make when they’re on but not moving fast?
I’m not even talking about while riding really, mostly when standing still or walking next to the wheel. There’s this super high frequency sound that just drills into my head after a while. It genuinely makes me irritated and I can’t stop focusing on it.
Today I went to a local dealer to compare a bunch of wheels because I thought maybe my nosfet aero had something wrong with it. But apparently not. The Nosfet/Leaperkim stuff was by far the loudest to me. Others were way more tolerable, with special mention for KingSong S16 that was basically completely silent. I would love to swap to it, but its almost 10kg heavier and aero is already at the limit of what I want.
Now I’m honestly considering returning the wheel because I can already tell this is gonna keep bothering me. Maybe I’m just sensitive to certain frequencies or something.
Did anyone else have this problem and get used to it eventually? Or did you switch wheels because of it?
