I made this picture for Art Fight. I’d never made a mass attack before, and the idea was quite daunting, but being me I found a way to make it crazier. I was originally planning on drawing around 20 Leafeons, but as I started putting them on paper I realized that there was still a ton of space so I just… kept adding more. I eventually lost count and figured that I’d tally it up at the end. I didn’t even mean for it to be an even 80, that was an accident. I could’ve added one to the bottom right corner but at that point I was just done.

I am especially proud of the fact that despite the fact that all of the Leafeons are extremely small, around the size of a quarter, each one of them is recognizable and looks like the reference image. When some people make mass attacks on Art Fight they ignore or leave out details to farm points, but I put a lot of love and care to ensure that each and every one had their design and personality respected.

Next year I want to try again with other Eeveelutions, either with them all mixed together or a piece focusing on a bunch of the same Eeveelution. (Snowy mountain for Glaceon, volcano for Flareon, underwater for Vaporeon, etc)

This drawing was made with Prismacolor colored pencils, a 0.05 Artistro pen and a couple ultra fine Pen + Gear pens.

I live in America so the blue Flabébé is the only one I’m missing since I somehow got a red spawn randomly one day. I can offer the American exclusive yellow, an orange one or the next white one I catch. I also have other American exclusive mons like Tauros, yellow Oricorio, Panpour, Throh, Durant and west sea Shellos if you’d prefer that. I don’t fly but am willing to work towards becoming forever friends. If you happen to have a shiny blue one I am happy to discuss options there too but I mostly just want to finish my regular collection :)

Last year a pair of barn owls moved in at my work, I named them Lilet and Lyzel. I see them off and on, mostly in the barn, and they leave pellets all over the place. A couple days ago I went and picked up all the assorted rodent corpses Lyzel left around to impress Lilet. He must be a stud, because I picked up 23 of those suckers, about half of which had the head and torso missing. But more recently I’ve noticed a pile beginning to form under their box, and it has started to spill onto the ground. Suddenly the floor under their box has a treasure trove of tiny bones!! Partial and full skulls, teensy vertebrae, so many jaws, and teeth of various sizes, both molars and the crazy long incisors. One time a tiny rib bone blew away in the wind as I tried to pick it up. Sometimes I even get whole intact tiny pelvises. I have to sift through a lot dirt, straw and broken pellets to find all the bones, but it’s a ton of fun.

Does anyone know if the amount of stuff piling up outside their box means they have owlets? I so rarely see them and I wouldn’t see the babies anyway, but I wonder if excessive movement inside the box is what’s causing everything to spill out. The pile is a new development, the first 2 pictures are from last year since I haven’t gotten any good photos recently.

The Duskull was from my first ever fight with Sierra since the team change. I just wish that the shiny stayed red, but oh well lol
