CONTEXT: I am from an Indian college of decent repute that isn't well known nationally and would like to apply for Imperial and other colleges in the UK next year. I also have a couple professors in my college with whom I can potentially work with for a research paper/project, but I'd like to know how much an LoR matters and what it ought to include. Also, how much will my college drag my profile down if the other stars align?
I have a projected first according to Imperial's website, alongside an incredibly relevant bachelor's program.
