Toshiba KT-4077, worth the repair attempt?
So bought this as parts not working with some trade credits. Figured I'd try my luck and hope it just needed a new belt, sadly not the case. The battery case is broken and easily comes off, doesn't stat consistently stay one due it being lose. After cleaning the melted belt and cleaning the dirty area I replaced the belts, but nothing happened as far as spindles moving. On closer look i noticed one of the spindles is missing.
So at the very least it needs a new battery cover and a replacement spindle. So my question is should I try to get this fixed or return it? What would you guys do if you had this? I have till this Friday to get my credit back. Couldn't find anywhere for a replacement battery case, even 3D printed options. Haven't checked to see if i can harvest the spindle from a different player.
