The front of this library in Ephesus was built for the books
Find this in Ephesus, Turkey. The Romans built the Library of Celsus around 110 AD as a tomb and a public library. The facade is two storeys of columns and niches. The books were kept in the rooms behind it. The four statues on the front represent the virtues the place was meant to stand for.
