Strategy for ETF portfolio start
Hey all, Ive recently started to make plans for my financial future and will start to invest in ETFs.
I wanted to ask about ur thoughts on my strategy.
My basic thought was a 70/30 split between MSCI World and MSCI EM, because I believe in the potential of those emerging regions. I also want to balance out the US and Europe a bit (GDP, not market capitalization) as a bit of a home bias. So my final Split would be something like this:
55% MSCI World | 15% Core Stoxx Europe 600 | 30% FTSE EM
As a breakdown on regions it would look something like 42% AM, 28% AS, 24% EUR. Is there anything I overlooked with this? What are the pros and cons of my strategy?
Thank you all in advance!
