As a noob on this site, it’s hard to determine what gets a certain flight to the top of the tracking list.

For instance, right now there’s over 4K people watching a single engine Diamond DA40 go in small circles over the middle of Lithuania. Nothing seems to be going on with it. it just has all these people watching.

Of course there‘s Squawk codes that will draw attention and certain military aircraft and such that people might be interested in, but a lot of the time it’s just random stuff like this one.

So what makes a flight like that so interesting that it ends up on the top of the list?
