Jean Skirt shouldn't have been the first song

Personally, Jean Skirt was one of -- if not the most -- weakest songs on the entire Do That Again album, and it doesn't give a good first impression for the rest of the album. He should've had Do That Again as the first song, or Free.99, I Saw Your Face, Breathe, Malcolm in the Middle... any one of those were amazing and should've been the first song. Those were really good songs and would've made a better first impression for the rest of the album.

a bit late, but my thoughts on the album Do That Again!!

First of all, I got into Malcolm Todd with Earrings, then the entire Sweet Boy album. Dear god is the entire album a banger!! I swear I've looped it SO many times. And his self-titled was good as well (I don't think it can top Sweet Boy, but I don't think anything can tbh). Chest Pain (I Love) has probably a million listens from me lmfao

When Breathe came out, I played it over and over again because I loved it, so I had huge hopes for DTA but... it was lowkey kind of underwhelming in first listen 😭😭

I think Jean Skirt as the first song was not a great idea, as it's one of the more lacking songs on the album imo.

Breathe, Free.99, Malcolm in the Middle were soooo good, with some others... but some songs just fell really flat for me 💀 He should've started with Breathe, personally, but idk.

I think my main issue with DTA is that some of the lyrics are rather clunky and often don't make much sense, it's confusing 💀

Nobody else I know is a fan of Malcolm but I neeeeeded to get my thoughts out somehow so here they are!!
