Australian nurse with family wanting to move to USA. Where would you live?
My partner and myself and our 3 children (5,3,2) are currently living in Perth Western Australia and contemplating the move to the US. Very much worried about the way Perth is going housing prices are sky high for houses falling apart poor infrastructure and high levels of undesirable immigration is starting to become noticeable.
I am a 4 year medical registered nurse and my partner is a personal trainer, I’m tossing trying to secure a work visa or potentially the green card lottery if and when it opens up again. We would be aiming to move over with $500kUSD in our bank account etc.
My issue is I’m having to workout where would be the ideal place to move to? I have a friend in New Orlens but I’ve heard some good and bad about living there.
If you had the opportunity to put a pin on the map where would you land? We have no religious followings, enjoy a good balance of family life and try to live a healthy lifestyle. I don’t want to live in snow all the time want a good balance of seasons
