i want to start busking but i get so nervous and i don’t really know how to start
hello. i’m never posted something on reddit before so im not sure if im doing it right but essentially i’ve been wanting to start busking for months now and i finally feel like im in the position where my playing is good enough to do so.
im 20 and have just finished my second year at uni so i thought that busking in the summer months when im home would be a good idea and ive gotten so close to doing it but i cant seem to get the courage to actually play a note. i play the mandolin and i stick to melody so im worried that my playing will sound flat on my own (i usually play in a folk band at uni) and im also worried people will judge me for my playing because its not a conventional busking instrument i dont think. any advice will be greatly appreciated!
