Is $5,655 reasonable for an 8-camera IP security system installation?
I'm trying to understand the real-world pricing of a professionally installed 8-camera IP surveillance system.
Example:
• 8 IP cameras
• NVR
• PoE switch
• Cabling and materials
• Around 24 labor hours
Assume the equipment + materials + labor cost is roughly $4,350.
Would a customer price of $5,655 sound reasonable, too low, or too high?
I'm particularly interested in how installers account for warranty work, callbacks and overhead when pricing jobs like this.
