How to clip my piggies nails?

So my piggies nails have grown pretty long. I’m a new guinea pig parent and hadn’t even thought about nail care since my other pets wear theirs down naturally. While I was away at school my mom tried to trim them with my brothers help, but only got to one paw before my more dominant girl started biting, and they couldn’t trim any on my other girls nails because she slips out of your hands very easily.

For some context on their behavior, I have 2 girls. Brownie, my more dominant girl will bite if she feels trapped (after a generous amount of warning squeaks tho) and cappi, my smaller girl is skittish and more slender than her sister so she’s really hard to hold still, this is such a problem that it’s a rule that if you hold cappi you have to cover her in a blanket while setting her down because she will try to jump out of your hands no the second she sees her food bowl.
We have tried one person holding a piggie while the other clips a few times, (we also tried to distract them with food but they are too smart to fall for it) but they wiggle so much, I am very scared I will clip too close to their quick and hurt them.

Any advice from owners with similar situations would be super appreciated! Or just advice in general about nail care would also be great.
