I found an easy way to consistently avoid the blowgun enemy on the way to martyr logarius
A lot of people hate the way to martyr logarius, because of the cainhurst servant that will shoot you with the blowgun when climbing the ladder. I accidentally discovered a 100% consistent strategy to avoid him.
You simply have to not send the elevator down, after riding it up. When you die fighting Logarius, you go to the elevator, activate the lever and wait for it to come down. For some reason the time waiting for the elevator causes the Cainhurst servant to get stuck under the platform he normally stands on.
Maybe this has been discovered before, this is a decently old game after all and it’s a very simple trick, but I couldn’t find it anywhere online so I thought I‘d share it.
tldr: Don’t send the elevator down after riding it, instead wait for it to come down after you respawn at the lantern, this will cause the Cainhurst servant to get stuck.
