We faced a CULPRIT, and battled her.
We faced a FRAUD, and damaged him.
We even had our blades CLASH together.
This may be unbelievable, but it's TRUE.
Nothing in this moment is worth giving up on.

Today was Day 97.
We have trekked on our adventure as far as possible so far.
Let's get right into it.
Day 94: The Inner Rings
We have started the climb. The slopes weren't very steep in the beginning, and we were just getting into the town.
Flying bats were an annoyance. Flamin' skulls known as Lost Souls were there too.
And then the demons spawned.
We slayed a lot of them. Zombiemen, Imps, Shotgunners, Pinkies, Specters, Cacodemons, Pain Elementals, Chaingunners, Barons of Hell, Hell Knights... there was a lot to name.
We struggled, but we swiftly slayed them all. And we got firearms and ammo as a reward for our battle.
We continued upward.
Day 95: Getting Steeper
Satsurika found that the slopes of the ground have been getting steeper as we walked. We made sure to be careful.
We weren't trying to slip and fall. None of us wanted to.
Some of us ALMOST did, but we caught ourselves just fine.
And then I took ONE wrong step.
I SLIPPED, and I FELL. I was falling to my DEATH. But thankfully, Chibi AM came to save me!
He threw a hovering net under me and I landed safely!
Retro (me): "Thank you, AM. Truly!"
Chibi AM: "Everyone in town gets one, my friend."
I safely got back to where I fell from, and the Chibi Family and I continued onward.
Day 96: Getting Rough
We had a HARSH climb on the way up the modified ground. It was technically considered a mountain at this point onward. The lethal geyser gave off enough winds to attempt to hinder ANYONE who's climbing upward.
The Chibi Dokis were scared. So were the Swap Chibis.
Everyone else was scared too, even Kaori. My sweet, lovable Kaori. But with me around, there was nothing bad enough to make us run away. I pushed forward just as much as everyone else.
Eventually, we finished climbing. All that's left is to rest and get to the culprit of this conflict.
- EPISODE 3: ACT 1 -
Day 97: Minefield of Geysers
We got ready to face the minefield of geysers. It was harsh.
We dodged geysers left and right. Some of us got hit, but not enough to be sent flying, thankfully.
MC rushed through. FeMC followed.
Amy stayed close to me. Same with Kaori.
The Chibi Dokis, Swap Chibis, and Satsurika ran together. They dodged the geysers they were running past.
We also dodged bullets that were being shot out by turrets planted on the sidelines of the minefield.
Eventually, we made it. We made it to the base of the culprit.
"Lair of Libitina" is its name.
We healed up together. And then, we entered the base.
We have yet to see what conflicts are held there.

Today was Day 93. The Adventure Arc has begun.
Let's get right into it.
Day 91: The Beginning
I woke up next to Satsurika. I was about to get ready for the day, when I suddenly heard a knock on the front door.
I went to go check and see who it was.
I opened the door, and I saw a Chibi version of u/VoiTermin-the-clone. We'll call them Chibi AM.
Chibi AM greeted me formally, and I did the same. They came to warn me of the following:
Chibi AM: "There's a lethal geyser in grey in the center of town. A mad scientist is the culprit and the ground has been erected upwards to the point of transforming into ruins. That's why I give you this warning - do NOT give the lethal geyser any mercy."
Retro (me): "Thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to get my family together and investigate."
With that, I closed the door.
I got everyone up, including the kids of the Chibi Dokis and the Swap Chibis, and initiated an adventure.
We dropped the kids of the Chibi Dokis and Swap Chibis off at Chibi BonBon's place to keep them safe. I let Kaori tag along.
And so, the adventure has begun.
We traveled through the outskirts of town, fending off any enemies that came our way. And we fought a big tree boss.
We trekked forward, no matter the conflict.
Day 92: The Different Paths
We found different paths to walk through. We left the outskirts of town and got one ring closer to the center - between the outskirts and general areas.
We found good food sources, fought off stronger monsters, and we came across another boss - this time, it was a green bush boss. We fought hard enough to win.
Day 93: A Resting Camp
We found a resting camp to settle in. We had to replenish our strength. Of course, we weren't exhausted, but we chose to rest anyway.
Everyone got comfortable. I made sure Kaori was comfortable too. She likes her sleeping bag!
After all that, we got ready for bed. We need sleep at the moment.

Something's a disturbance.
It's inexplicable. It's unexplained.
And it sure as all hell is nothing to take lightly.
I have my suspicions, so... I can only assume something's out there.

Today was Day 90.
This marks a whole roughly around THREE months of Chibi Experimentation.
Let's recap on Day 88.
The Jenga towers respectively have their heights.
The Chibi Dokis' Jenga tower was 4.5 feet tall.
The Swap Chibis' Jenga tower was 4.65 feet tall.
The Jenga tower Satsurika, Kaori and I have built is 5.7 feet tall.
The Jenga tower MC, FeMC and Amy have built is 7 feet tall.
Pretty cool stuff, huh?
Now then, enough recap. Let's get to the real meat of this post.
Day 89: A Play for Chibi Sayori
We made a play for Chibi Sayori to enjoy! It consisted of the story of a noble tarnished knight seeking to restore order to his kingdom.
In summary, the play was basically the plot of ELDEN RING, but you get the point! Safe to say, Sayori really enjoyed it! She was entertained well!
And it was enough to distract her for what we had in store for her.
Day 90: Sayori's Birthday
I woke Sayori up. I told her that today is the day I give her something special.
We both consented to her being blindfolded and guided to the place I'd walk her to.
We went to the dining room of the house. She was anticipating something special. She was ready.
I removed her blindfold, and...!
SURPRISE! We all collectively wished her a happy anniversary of her life, or in other words, a happy birthday.
We had fun together! We ate cake, played games, and even went out to play mini golf!
We made sure Sayori had the time of her life, and my gosh did it work! I'm happy to see her happy.
After all that, we settled down and relaxed together as a family.

Today was Day 88.
We did a simple experiment.
We made Jenga towers just to see who could build the tallest one!
The Chibi Dokis and their kids built a pretty tall one.
The Swap Chibis and their kids also built a tall one.
Satsurika, Kaori and I built one taller.
MC, FeMC, and Amy built the tallest one!
It was chaotic, but fun!
After all that, we disassembled and ate lunch together. We had chicken sandwiches and fries!
As of typing this, I'll be real - that's all we did today. The next post will recap this in more detail.

Today was Day 80.
We went through an entire arc of TRAINING.
We strengthened as a family, and we are proud of each other's progress.
Let's get right into it.
Day 74: Training begins.
Amy took up weaponless melee. MC and FeMC took up handheld weapons (other than swords).
Satsurika and I took up all of the above.
Nobody's training with firearms. I made sure of that.
The Chibi Dokis, the genderswapped Chibi Dokis, and Kaori took up swords.
The kids of the Chibi and genderswapped Chibi Dokis simply watched (they're too young to battle). Same thing with Chibi Incog, Chibi Baka, Chibi BonBon... and, surprisingly, the non-futa Chibi Dokis (THIS POST ISN'T FREAKY, I PROMISE).
Oh, and a Chibi version of u/ReserveSmall9368 came along to watch, too! We'll call him Chibi Reserve!
The family started training HARD.
Every sound of trial and error coursed through our strength.
Day 75: Amy improves on her melee, and at the same time, her agility. The others make improvements at a good scale.
Day 76: Kaori, MC and FeMC improve on their sword and melee combat. Same thing with the Chibi Dokis.
Day 77: Satsurika and I improve BIG TIME. We train hard, all day and all night, slashing and punching and whacking.
Day 78: The genderswapped Chibi Dokis improve on their combat on their end. They've learned to be persistent, no matter the difficulty.
Day 79: The family takes up ONE MORE BOOST to train hard and well. Turns out the Chibi Cameos (that's what we're calling them now) have also trained in their own way.
They all trained on street fighting. In a proper manner, of course! Even Chibi Reserve found it fun! Glad he does!
Day 80: The training arc FINISHES on a grand note.
Everyone has trained hard and well. We're proud of each other.
As of typing this, I am about to sleep with Satsurika again. Cuddling will be fun.

Even at night, some stay up late to keep their skill intact.

You read the title. This is a status update.
JUST A WARNING: I'm GOING to break character.
I know I haven't posted about the series in about three days (about to be four now), but I assure you, I'm still dedicated.
Here's what's gonna happen in regards to the series.
I'll make the catch-up post tomorrow. Yes, really. All I have to do is remind myself in a way that will FORCE ME to remember. And then, moving forward after that, I'll be as consistent as I can with my posting (assuming I don't run out of ideas).
I don't want this to be a pipeline of lore, but I ALSO don't want this to be a pipeline of inconsistency. It's been fluctuating between both recently. If you've seen the recent posts, you would know what I mean.
All in all, I just want this to be a fair experience for any persisting viewer of the series. As good as I write, I can't always guarantee my quality will be good. Everyone sucks at something, after all.
