Longest I've gone without a sezuire!!

I havent had a sezuire since the 7th of April this year! Thats the longest ive ever gone and im so proud of myself. I was going to be a paramedic student in around a year and needed to start driving but obviously with sezuires you have to be free of them for 6 months and we're hopefully on our way to be at that goal❤️🤞🏻

I’m looking for some advice or to hear from anyone with similar experiences.

Since December, I’ve been dealing with severe migraines, mostly on the right side of my head. Around the same time, I was diagnosed with FND after being paralysed from the waist down for a few days. Then in February, I developed a new symptom—non-epileptic seizures—which I’m now thankfully 20 days free from.

However, my migraines have worsened since then, and a recent scan showed a new microbleed on my brain. My neurologist doesn’t think it’s causing my symptoms or doing any harm, but it’s still concerning.

The main issue I’m struggling with now is contraception. I’ve been on the combined pill for over a year with no problems—it actually regulated my periods and helped with pain from suspected endometriosis. But because of the migraines, I’ve been told I need to stop taking it.

I’ve tried other contraceptive options before, but they caused really prolonged periods (like bleeding for a month straight), which I found difficult to deal with. I’m not keen on the implant or coil, so I’m considering the injection—but I’m unsure if it’s the right choice.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, especially with migraines or FND, and found a contraception method that worked for them? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences.
