Anxiety while on combination birth control
Hello this might be a stupid post but I would like to hear others experiences and get some reassurance. I have been on the combination birth control for about 5 years more or less I am 18 years old and started birth control very early into even getting my period. I have taken my pill perfectly despite a few hours late or a few hours early which everywhere says is safe I take it at 8 pm every night and I haven't missed a pill in 2 years or so but I used to be spotty on my use before those 2 years. I became sexually active with a serious boyfriend about a year ago and cannot escape the anxiety I could possibly become pregnant even though I have perfect use. We also use the pull out method with perfect use for 80% of our sexual relationship and we originally used condoms but they are very uncomfortable for me and him. I just want to know im not alone in this and that my fear isn't fully justified. I have a supportive family that would help me get a abortion if something did happen but it might wreck our relationship a little bit which doubles the anxiety. Sorry this is so long winded. Tysm!
