I need help fixing a piano I bought.

I just bought a PALMER piano (ELECTRONIC PIANO PP-73 II). When I press a key, it makes a muffled sound, but doesn't produce any notes. I checked and found that the tone control had a broken wire in the capacitor. After fixing that wire, it still hasn't produced any notes... Before anything else, it had an annoying hissing sound, and I identified that it could be a grounding problem. I connected the grounding wire to the VOLUME Along with TONE, the hissing stopped, but it still doesn't emit any sound... Does anyone have any idea what I can do at home?Sorry for my English, I'm from Brazil..
