I just got this phone! I don't think I'm doing anything out of the ordinary.. so why does it keep lagging or freezing on me? Are there known issues right out of the box or should I return it?

I'm not a gamer, I don't need crazy performance (beyond making sure it will hold up over time), but I do intend to use Photoshop and Illustrator for small projects on occasion. I mostly use my laptop for internet research, but I like to take it out to the library and stuff so something that isn't fragile would be nice.

Decent, not terribly picky, would love replaceable battery

I care the most about longevity and durability, over the listed priorities. I want to be able to upgrade RAM/SSD if needed, and use it as long as possible, ideally like 6 years, esp since I only use it a few time a month (my current broke after 3 years of light use and I'm mad about it). Of the listed things, performance, battery life, then size, then weight. I don't really have Macbook money (and prefer PC anyway) but I don't know what laptop might be comparable as far as lifespan goes.

I think a Thinkpad is likely my best route, but I'm not sure how to pick a model. Are they all about the same..?
