4 years after its debut, the first High Grade model of the Witch From Mercury line is still fantastic, and influenced the way how High Grade model kits are designed going forward, with minimal sticker use, simple, and fun construction despite the intricate engineering, and the lack of polycaps in the joints allow long-term durability and enjoyment in posing and playability, and is still recommended to builders, especially beginners. While most say the HGUC Moon Gundam was the first to implement these aspects, the High Grade Gundam Lfrith was the model kit that made them become a mainstay in the High Grade Gunpla line, where its features are first borrowed into other suits in the same line, to eventually influencing newer High Grade releases in the Universal Century and Cosmic Era lines. This kit is a pioneer that aged like a fine wine.
