Chalazion SHRUNK overnight

Reposting to add pics! First pic is on Sunday. Put the castor oil on Monday night. Second pic is from this morning (Tuesday).

This Reddit group has been extremely helpful for me as I navigate my first ever stye/chalazion so I just wanted to share some words of encouragement in case someone else is going through it like I was //still am but have more hope now!

Back story - my eye started hurting and got super inflamed like 4 weeks ago. My doc said it was a stye and gave me an antibiotic ointment, which helped with the pain and swelling. I’d never had a stye before so I thought since the ointment was working, I didn’t need to do hot compresses. Of course, a chalazion formed and I’ve been trying to get rid of it for about 3 weeks now. I’ve been doing the warm compresses about 3x daily with a microwavable hot pad. I started massaging it downward which didn’t seem to be helping. A few days ago, I ordered the We Love Eyes roller and that’s been a game changer, however the ultimate game changer?? CASTOR OIL. I put it on my lid last night and woke up to my chalazion nearly completely flat. The hardness is still there but it’s gone down sooo much. I couldn’t believe it. I think I’m days away from it going away completely. I know some people deal with these for months so if you haven’t tried castor oil, highly recommend.
