🚀 New Radiaverse Maps Release
This update focuses on helping you better discover, understand, and discuss interesting radiation locations.
- 💬 Community features are here — areas now support likes, threaded comments, photos, videos, spectrum attachments, markdown formatting, and notifications, making it much easier to share findings and collaborate with other users.
- 🗂 Area categories help surface interesting places and improve exploration. Existing areas were categorized automatically; if you notice an incorrect category, you can submit an edit.
- ✨ Area pages have been completely redesigned on desktop and mobile, with a new media gallery, improved information layout, better sharing previews, and easier access to spectra and supporting materials.
- ☢️ We've also added a new Radiation Context section to help answer the common question: "What am I looking at?"
- 🔒 Finally, this release introduces several new privacy and data protection features, including anonymous track publishing, self-service data export and account deletion, a 24-hour delay for newly recorded track points, and updated retention policies for inactive accounts.
- Thank you for helping build the world's largest community radiation map.
