Almost-kiss gag
Prior to Season 4, Kim and Ron had the longest kiss at the end of their junior prom in So The Drama. When Season 4 was announced, one of their premiere ads supposedly promised that it would be “so 4 times the drama”.
When it actually did come out, the season turned out to be more comedic than dramatic, with the majority of the “kisses” being pecks on the cheek or moments where Kim and Ron would be interrupted by random external factors. The only long kisses that did result were those during Graduation.
What was the point of the almost-kiss gag during that season? Did the writers change their minds last-minute and turn the season into an overly comedic one, as opposed to supposedly dramatic one that was advertised?
Nani’s parenting
In the original movie, Nani faces a lot of stress and pressure as she tries keep Lilo from CPS and raise her the best she can. Sure, they fight at times due to anger issues and conflicting interests, but they ultimately love each other very much. Lilo even says to her at one point that “I like you as a sister better than a mom.”
Then come the series and its two bookend DTV movies. During its run, Nani is a whole different person. She gets more irritable with Lilo than before, acts more like a mom than sister, and even grounds Lilo over minor inconveniences. It’s if her character got derailed.
How can that be? Why the sudden shift in personality between the movie and the series?
Why didn’t the world rebuild at the end of “Graduation”?
A lot of signature locations throughout the series, like the Possible family home, Bueno Nacho, and Middleton High School, were destroyed during the series finale. Why didn’t they rebuild on-screen before the series ended?
