Is this cooler good?

Hi everyone! Looking for a chiller for my baby Mister Milkshake, and this is the most adequate option I found. The rest are almost as expensive, but want up to 200-300$ for shipping. I can't afford that :'D

Google said this one looks good tho. Does anyone know about it? Or does it look good overall? I'll include what google said about this, do you guys agree? Any insights will be appreciated!

Also, my tank is NOT 100L. I asked about that volume because 1) I heard you should choose coolers that are good for bigger tanks than yours 2) I plan to move him to a 100L twnk next year, and I don't want to buy another cooler for that :D

P.S. yes, I tried looking on amazon branch for the country I'm in, Turkey, there's nothing but fans. I will not be ordering from America, I do not have the means to pay for shipping and I have no idea how it works. This is turkish branch of aliexpress, so I'm much more comfortable ordering here!

P.S.2. Just a pic of my cutie patootie, look at him enjoying his new plants awwww

Mister Milkshake update: Days 4-5

Hi everyone! Mister Milkshake and me both send you all a big thank you for all the advice I got on the last post! My boy got very popular hehehehe, so proud of him. Just look how pretty he is. My baby!

So these past two days I was just making sure we'll both survive til his fans come. And yay, they arrived today, right with his food! You can see the new set up on the last pic. The temperature is too high, I know, but the fan is working and I'm trying to get it to the lowest stable temperature possible. It got a bit better now, to 23.8, and I don't think it'll go lower unfortunately. Still better than the 26-28 degrees I was fighting for every day lol. Pls read my first post to understand the situation better🥹 Cooler is the next thing I'm going to buy, I'll be ordering it in the end of August (hopefully. The money I'll use are for my documents, so if everything goes well we'll be fine), so if anyone got any recommentadions on affordable and good (affordable is preferable, but I need it to work well, so I'll get a pricey one too if necessary) chillers for a 50-80 litres tank (mine is for 55-60 litres and I don't plan on changing it to a bigger one for now, so let's start with this please) that I can buy on AliExpress, I'll be happy to listen!

I also added some more stones, because OMG he loves these stones! He loves sitting at the one in the corner next to his house and stare at his reflection. He also swims into the sides a lot after eating, or just sits staring at them. Every time he does that I joke that he's contemplating about the meaning of life lol. (When he swims really actively to the sides, I start jokingly singing a song from Equestria girls cartoon 'I KNOW THERE'S MORE WHAT'S OUT THEEEEREEEEEEEE'. But if we're serious, should I worry he tries swimming into the walls? I don't want him to stress outtt!). He loves seeing my hands in the tank, he's very curious about everything (I tried feeding him just by throwing the food in front of him, but I think his reaction is also stunned. It's really hard for him to find food unless it's on my fingertip right under his nose lol). Which is understandable, since he had literally nothing but the filter in his old tank. I don't know if he was able to see out of it or no, but for a good year or so that was his only friend, so I love seing him explore. I noticed that he also loves sitting in/on that small plant I have in the tank, which is absolutly adorable, I hope the plant doesn't mind. Thinking of getting him another one, what do you all think? Since I'm also not able to get the water tests right now, I change his water much more often, and I heard that plants are good to keep ammonia in check or something, but I'll see what you all say. Btw, on that picture, is it clear what sex he actually is? I don't really care, just really wonder if it's Mister or Lady lol. I also plan on bying a small tunnel hideout for another corner, I think he'd love that. Also, Mister Milkshake loves gulping for air! He really loves his air bubbles, so an air pump is also on my buying list.

He's very active after eating, he swims/crawls around his tank for a few hours after getting food. He's also eating well, hasn't skipped a meal yet! I still feed him shrimp, but today his food arrived right after breakfast, and in the evening I gave him one pellet to try. He loved it! Unfortunately the fishing shops my mom checked didn't have worms there. Like yall what do you mean you out of all places don't sell worms :') The guy there recommended feeding him chicken, but we'll pass lol. Still I'm not worried as much, because the pellets I bought are supposed to be very good quality (at least google says so - Sera aquafeed), so I have some time to think of a better diet.

I think I'll give him a few pieces of shrimp with the pellets to switch him over comfortably. I saw him poo once when I just brought him home, and also the first piece of shrimp I gave him was bigger than it's supposed to, so I'm worried about constipation. I saw a piece of poo on his butt yesterday tho, so I think my filter is just working real good. Still, any signs of constipation I should worry about?

Also overall he got more pinkish, and his scratched side fully healed! I don't know when, but I just noticed it today so it means it happened in these three days. My mom also said he looks a bit bigger at his belly, but I honestly have no idea. I've been watching him so much these past few days it feels like I'm immune to seeing any visual changes lol. He's much more active overall, even now when the temperature started to go down he left his house and is now swimming around. He's still wonky, but now he at least swims and not just splashes in the water hehe! He ate more than yesterday, too, but I make sure to feed him small portions and not give him too much.

On one of the pictures is his tail. I know that curled tails is a sign of stress, but this doesn't look curled to me, it looks rather broken or something... Same question, should I worry? I mean, I already do, but is this a "worry RIGHT NOW" thing or a "worry later" thing?)

Overall I think he's doing a good job, and I'll make sure to give him the best life I can! Thanks so much everyone for help, it's definitely not my last update on this baby :D

Mister Milkshake update or something

So after getting the feedback here, I went out to buy some worms. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any, and even the guy in the pet shop who used to keep an axolotl had no idea where to get some, so I'll have to work on this and find where to get them. But for now I fed him 4 small pieces of shrimp (it was just frozen shrimp, nothing additional), and he was VERY happy to eat. His head got a bit red, but I think that should be fine? Also as soon as he realised he was being fed he became more active, and even swam up to get some air which I saw for the first time here! Afterwards I added some stones so he could Idk, explore (they all are big and don't have sharp edges, and I followed the rules on how to get them in), and after a few minutes he actually went up for air again, swam around his house, and sat on the stones in the corner. He bumped his head and tried idk, swimming into the corner? As if to hide? But then calmed down for a bit, gulped for air again, and went back to his house, where he's still sitting calmly. I also think that he turned a bit pinkish after eating.

He looks super weak when he swims, it's like it's hard for him to control his body :(

Should I be happy that he's a bit more active, or is it a bad sign? Also, should I feed him everyday? Since he probably wasn't being fed well previously, I really want him to get back in shape!

Advice on a rescued Axolotl

Hello everyone! Meet Mister Mikshake. Also, it's going to be a big rant, but if you have experience with these babies, PLEASE read this to understand the situation, I need help!

So long story short, my neighbours got an axolotl around a year or so ago. The man (Let's call him John) had been keeping fish his whole life, so the axolotl was like a prize possesion. Don't get me wrong, he loves his fishies - the tanks are filtered, clean, equipped and well decorated.

But the axolot's tank? It was empty, and only had a filter. So bla-bla-bla, and John said he can give him to me. So I agreed, obviously, because I really liked the little guy. But I started preparing, and because my cat got sick and later passed away, I was in debt, so buying a tank and everything else (although I had the filter and water dechlori-whatever it's called) was kind of impossible, so I put that idea away, although I still really wanted the baby to live with me.

And so it happened that the day before yesterday, when I visited them again, John told me "I want to get rid of him. So it's either a pet shop, the street, or you."

Well, wow. Mind you, we live in Turkey, in a very hot city, and temperatures here can get as high as 50 degrees Celsius at day time. I think he wanted to let him out in a small pond near our house. But, well, we have crabs, turtles, frogs, toads and hedgehogs living there. Oh, cats, dogs, and sometimes boars, too. So obviously I said "Don't, I'll take him."

So John gave me a really small tank (around 10 litres. He said it'l be enough for some time) and gave me the sponge from his old filter for the water cycling, and uh, boom. Here we are.

After I brought Mister Milkshake home, I put the filter in, got the water, and checked the temperature. It was whopping 28C. I got super scared. I managed to get it to a bit safer 26, then 24, and then 22 for the night (I stayed up till 1am trying to get the temperature down). The next morning I immediately went for a shopping spree, trying to find him food and a cooler. NOTHING. Obviously, I'm panicking. Thankfully, in one of the shops I found a tank. It was 50*35 on the bottom part, and ended up holding around 60 litres. I know it's small, but Mister Milkshake is also not very big - he's around 18cm, maybe less, and he's around 3-4 years old.I think that because of his previous conditions he didn't get to grow normally, so now he's rather tiny. I know they can sill grow after they're 12-18 months, but I heard it's pretty slow. Also, even if I ever have to change the tank, I believe getting him this one for now is better than keeping him in the 10 litres one.

So anyway, I got him a little home for hiding (he loves it so much he's been there the whole day. Idk if he left at night, but overall he's not very active, but I can't blame him), a little plant, and moved him there. The emperature right now is 24C, I know it's high, but all the ice packing I put in barely do anything. So the same day I went back to John, to give him the tank back, and to ask about the temperature.

And oh my god, it turned out that while Mister Milkshake was living there, he did not care one bit about it. He told me "He's a Turkish axolotl, haha, he'd acclimatized!"

MIND YOU, we have days where the temperature is, again, 40-45C. And they don't use the AC often. He told me that my 26C is much colder than what he had before. So here I am, with probably a very stressed, and maybe even sick axolotl, panicking, because I can't get the water temperature down. I ordered a special set of 3 fans, but they will arrive the day after tomorrow - so right now I have to rely on my AC and the ice packages to keep the water at least somewhat cold. I'm also worried I'll give him thermal shock if it's too cold too suddenly, since he'd been living in warm water. I also don't have his food yet, it's supposed to come the day sfter the fans, and I didn't want to take the food John had been feeding him (Minced beef. Oof.), so Mister Milkshake will have to wait for a bit before finally getting food. He also has little scratches on his sides, and his gills are not at all fluffy, so I think he can't regenerate because of the heat? Stress? Wrong diet? I don't know.

I'm so stressed, I worry about him all the time, and I automatically wake up around 6am (after going to bed at 1am) to check the temperature, even if I know there's barely anything I can do. I know that my tank is probably not cycled well enough, and all those nitrates and anemonia or something are really important, too, so I have no idea what to do now, so it feels like I'm a fish trashing on land. My first priority right now is the temperature and his food, but what do I do next? How do I check everything? I'm already spending more than my monthly salary on him (I'm in a bad financial spot right now lol), and I had to ask my mom and sister for money. But it's not even the biggest problem, I'll get money if needed, but it's my first time ever having someone except for cats and dogs, so I'm worried I'll let him down. Any advice will be much appreciated, but please be kind, I promise I'm doing my best right now🥹
