Hi all,

I've seen lots of posts about the assessment centre and there's been lots of useful advice but I'd really appreciate some further insights from the firies that have recently graduated.

1. For the panel interview, I've prepared stories on the following areas:

   • Resilience / Setbacks
   • Ethical / Morally Grey Situation
   • Teamwork / Communication
   • Conflict in the Workplace
   • Accountability
   • Pressure
   • Helping Others

Anything I'm missing? I feel like I've covered most of the bases. I also heard from some of the guys that there may be a question on how you / firefighters reflect FRNSW values alongside asking again why you want to be a firefighter.

2. Only other thing I wanted to ask is what's the timeframe for results from the assessment centre? Did you find out your results soon after you did it? Or did you have to wait a long time before finding out if you were successful / unsuccessful?
