what are we doing here

Since the remainder of the season has started airing, I was wondering when we would get any news on future tapings since the new season should be starting roughly a month from now. I go to the website and see they're promoting the latest WOW podcast episode, where David is blasting his nips on screen for Lana Star.

Do we think we're going to get a date for season 5 tapings yet, or are we going to get another month of whatever this is?

I'm part of a podcast focused on Women's Wrestling, and one of our themed recurring episodes is promotion specific fantasy booking. We've done the indies, WWE, TNA, AEW and as of last week, WOW: Women of Wrestling! I'm not biased at all (not even a little bit!) but I think all 3 of our hypothetical rosters are stellar and in a just world would exist!

Ah, it's fun to dream.

I have been curious about WOW announcing new tapings lately, so I did two seconds of poking around on their Youtube page, and it looks like they opened voting to pick their final rerun episode.

(EDIT: it looks like you can vote as many times as you want, and they do not show you how the three are polling after you vote, so who cares, vote for Ziplining Dave, let the baby have his bottle. This can be WOW's Morbius!)

Fine, sure, if we're going to have reruns, might as well have whoever is left watching the option to pick from them.

However...

WHO is wanting to reair the episode of Dave's travel blog (besides David)?? The episode that rehashed bits from the docuseries, featured no Women of Wrestling doing wrestling, but instead the most milquetoast mediocre bobblehead of a man mugging for the camera for 40 minutes?

This shit is so dumb. At this point, i feel like the new season is going to kick off with repeats of season 4, maybe we'll hear about new tapings in September or October and can look forward to new footage being taped a month or so into the season 5 run and eventually airing in January of 2027! What a thrill!

EDIT: For what it's worth, my local station is showing Ep 422 on 8.2.26, if that can be believed.
