So like I was gonna go round to my bf’s house today when apparently his parents told him to go out with me somewhere so we went golfing (idk how he managed to book a place). I won the first round by 20 (he got 16 in one of them) then second I lost by 10

Ok so a couple years back I wanted to join a Minecraft realm but none of my friends owned one so I went on Reddit to look. Scrolled through a couple subreddits and found one that didn’t say 18+ (yippee) so I assumed it was a teen server. I DMed the guy who asked for my age. I said I was 17 and in college (don’t remember exact thing but something along those lines) and so they invited me to a discord server which tbh should’ve been the first red flag. The second red flag was when I looked at the rules and it said 18+. Ok guess I’m 18 now. My voice was also pretty high pitch at the time which will come in later. So I get on the realm and for SOME reason the main group of people set up their bases aka the only bit of civilisation 4K BLOCKS AWAY OR SOME OTHER RIDICULOUSLY HIGH AMOUNT! I somehow didn’t die on the journey and made it there, set my spawn, and immediately left cuz I was mentally drained or smh idk the exact reason.

Anyway when I next log on it was me and this other guy. The guy asks if I wanted to head on call with him. I felt uncomfortable with this cuz of my voice which would’ve definitely gotten me kicked off the realm so I said I can’t cuz I’m embarrassed about how high my voice is. Third red flag cuz that should’ve been a giveaway that I was NOT over 18. He then pretty much pressured me into it by being like “why” over and over to the point where I gave in and we went on call. It was at this point where my uncomfortableness was starting to turn into a bit of scariness cuz of how deep the guy’s voice was. Like it wasn’t CORPSE level deep but it was still terrifying for someone who was barely a teen, if that (I don’t remember exact age). Now we weren’t rlly talking cuz socialising ain’t my expertise but he definitely heard my voice through some amount of small talk I’m guessing. It got to a point that I was SO uncomfortable that after ten minutes I said I needed to go and do something. As I hung up he said in chat “bye good thing”. The amount of chills I got from that was genuinely fucking terrifying to the point where that was the last time I got on the realm.

Now was he actually a pedophile? Maybe not. Maybe he was trying to be nice but it came out as objectifying. But DAMN THAT GUY QUITE LITERALLY SCARED ME OFF THE REALM (also made me realise why the mods want selfies to get in the discord server)
