assalamualaikum,

i'm a final year student and aspiring software developer. i really need to hear from people working at software companies on-site, to decide whether i should buy an upgraded laptop or go for building a desktop.

so, does your company provide you with a laptop, or a desktop to work at the office? or are you expected to have your own device/laptop?

or is it something like, the company provides you with a laptop/desktop, but it is still convenient to have your own laptop?

your advice will help me make a crucial decision, cause this is going to be a very expensive one in the current market. so i'll be grateful.

thanks in advance:)
